Official Rules & Regulations (“Rules”)

How to Enter.

No purchase necessary. To enter the Follow Xplore Mobile contest (the “Contest”), Facebook, Instagram and Twitter users must follow @Xplore Mobile and like the Contest promotion post during the contest period commencing at 10 AM CDT on November 5, 2021 and ending at 10 AM CDT on November 30, 2021 (the “Contest Period”). Limit of three entries per person (one entry per social media platform). Any attempt or suspected attempt to use robotic, automatic, programmed, or otherwise illicit means to enter the Contest, or any other methods not authorized by these official rules and regulations (the “Rules”), for example, but not limited to, creating multiple Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or email accounts, identities, or registrations, all in the Sponsor’s sole discretion, shall be deemed as tampering and may disqualify you from entering, participating and/or winning a prize. Multiple entries from a single Instagram, Facebook or Twitter user will not be accepted. Any entrant found to be using multiple Instagram, Facebook or Twitter accounts to enter this Contest will be ineligible to win.


The Contest is open to legal residents of Manitoba who have reached the legal age of majority at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors (including immediate family members and members of the same household) of Xplore Mobile Inc. (the “Sponsor”) and its affiliates, distributors, dealers, marketing representatives, printers, advertising or promotional agencies, or any other organization associated with the Contest are not eligible to participate.


There is one prize to be awarded consisting of an iPhone 13 (the “Prize”). Approximate retail value of the Prize is $1,099.00 CAD. Memory size and colour to be determined by the Sponsor. The costs of everything not specifically stated herein as included in the Prize are the sole and absolute responsibility of the confirmed winner. For the avoidance of doubt, all carrier, mobile, data and other costs associated with the Prize are the sole responsibility of the confirmed winner. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any Prize in whole or in part for a prize of equal or greater value in the event that any component of a Prize is unavailable for any reason. The Prize must be accepted as awarded and no substitutions, except as identified above, will be made. The Prize may not be sold, transferred or assigned and is not convertible to cash.

The Draw.

On November 30, 2021 at approximately 10:30 am EST in Ontario, a random draw conducted by the Sponsor will take place from among all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The first entry drawn will be eligible to win the Prize. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The Sponsor will attempt to notify the selected entrant using the social media platform which the entrant used to enter the Contest within 7 days of the draw. In the event the potential winner cannot be contacted within 7 business days after the draw, he or she may in the sole discretion of the Sponsor be disqualified (and, if disqualified, will forfeit all rights to the Prize) and the Sponsor reserves the right to randomly select an alternate eligible entrant from among the remaining entries (in which case the foregoing provisions of this section shall apply to such newly selected entrant).

Before being declared and confirmed as the Prize winner, the potential winner must, in addition to meeting the Contest eligibility criteria and otherwise complying with the Rules: (i) have correctly answered, unaided, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by the Sponsor, and (ii) within the time stipulated by the Sponsor, complete and return to the Sponsor a contest eligibility and liability/publicity release form (“Release Form”) which, among other things, confirms compliance with these Rules, acknowledges acceptance of the Prize as awarded, releases the Sponsor and its directors, officers, shareholders, agents, representatives, successors and assigns from all liability of any kind arising out of his or her participation in the Contest and receipt and use of the Prize, and except where prohibited by law, permitting the Sponsor to publish, reproduce and/or use his or her name, address (city and province), voice, photograph or other likeness, without further notice or compensation, worldwide and in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media now known or hereafter devised, including the Internet, in any publicity carried out by the Sponsor. Proof of identity (government-issued photo identification) must be provided upon request. In the event that the potential winner does not comply with all the provisions as contemplated in these Rules, the Sponsor shall have the right to disqualify the potential winner and select an alternate potential winner, and the Sponsor shall be fully and completely released and discharged from any liability or responsibility in this regard. No correspondence will be made except with potential winner.


By entering the Contest, entrants agree to abide by these Rules, and further agree that the decisions of the Sponsor is final. The Sponsor reserves the right at any time without prior notice to suspend, modify or terminate the Contest for any reason. All entries that are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means including use of any automated system to participate, or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of these Rules may be disqualified. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. The Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual they find to be tampering or disrupting the operation of the Contest or acting in violation of these Rules. The Sponsor does not assume any responsibility for any lost, delayed, incorrect or incomplete entry information howsoever caused. The Sponsor is not liable for injuries, death, damages or losses of any kind resulting from participation in the Contest or acceptance or use of the Prize. In the event of a dispute, entries will be deemed to have been made by the authorized account holder of the Twitter, Instagram or Facebook account used to submit the Entry. "Authorized account holder" means the natural person to whom is assigned the social media account. You agree to the privacy policies and terms of use of Twitter (available at www.twitter.com), Instagram (available at www.instagram.com) and Facebook (available at www.facebook.com) and are solely responsible for ensuring that you comply with them at all times while participating in the Contest. This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with [insert social media platform(s)]. By participating in this Contest, you agree to a complete release of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram from any claims.

Privacy and Personal Information.

By entering the Contest, each entrant consents to the collection, use and disclosure of his/her personal information (information that identifies an entrant as an individual, such as home telephone number, age and home address) by the Sponsor for the purposes of implementing, administering and fulfilling the Contest. Personal information will be handled in accordance with the privacy policy of Xplore Mobile Inc. which is located at https://www.xploremobile.ca/privacy. Any inquiry concerning the personal information held by the Sponsor should be addressed to Xplore Mobile at 300 Lockhart Mill Road, Woodstock, New Brunswick, E7M 5C3.

Publicity of Winner Name.

The name of the Prize winner may be posted online or otherwise beginning on the first business day after the winner has been contacted and has returned a fully completed Release Form to the Sponsor as set out above.

Subject to Applicable Laws.

This Contest is governed by the laws of Canada, is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
